The Making of a Thing Empty
PostSubject: The Making of a Thing   The Making of a Thing Icon_minitimeSat Apr 13, 2013 2:36 am

There was a reason for the things that the captain commander did, usually. The reason he was walking through the Senkaimon and taking the necessary steps to get here, to the world of the hollows? Well it was simply that he had things to do that involved hollows of course. There were tests that had to be run and experimental weapons that had to be made. Either way it went there was nothing but bitter resemblances of moonlight that shown down in this dark forest of crystal trees. Among the creations of quartz were several spiritual pressures with several ranges constantly appearing and disappearing as if the entirety of the circle of the hollow life was going back and forth in hyper-speed before him. It was refreshing actually, to the side of him that he never really referenced, to feel this amount of death and growth simultaneously.

And as strange as it was for the duo to agree on anything out right, a sort of unified hapiness could be felt between master and zanpakutou. Vampata was simply enjoying the more carnal side to it all, but Kuroden just couldn't place why the eebs and flows of this place meant so much to him. He knew why he was here and what the fodder meant, but either way it was just something special. In the instance he had before his vice captain would step out of the senkaimon, he leaked his spiritual energy just enough to draw all of the hollows here towards him. The ones of high adjuchas and vasto would come and the weaker ones would be strengthening snacks along the way. Had he used the fullest extent then they all would've simply bowed before him and eliminated the point of the excursion and so, it was done. All he needed do now was wait for the food to come.

Saori had just recently stepped from the Senkaimon, already feeling as if she had been engorged by the souls of the dead. Swooping shadows felt more like neverending cycles of death and chaos. She wasn't sure what to make of it honestly - though she knew whole heartedly that Hueco Mundo was home to the most brutal and relentless Hollows. She felt that her Master and her alike could take on a number of them - but due to the fading presence of Spiritual Energy directed from the Commander, there was no doubt that they were going to be fighting much more than a group of lesser Hollows. Then again, ordinary is extraordinary in this lifetime.

Grasping the hilt of Leviathan, she readied to release her Shikai at a moments notice in case of any unfurling surprise attacks that couldn't be sensed through more practical spiritual methods. Sight wasn't an issue as far as she could tell aside from dust storms that may pick up from the borderlands of the White Desert, though this environment was submerged by the sanded dunes and twisting winds. Looking around, it didn't seem too bad actually. Trees seemed to be made of a pseudo-metallic substance such as quartz and were surprisingly beautiful in color. Taking a small tanto, she would jam it into one of the 'barky' substances and, with the swift pull of her hand and a slash from her blade, would pull from it a large amount of shiny quartz which sparkled and illuminated her hand like a translucent pearl with direct light reflected throughout its core. Breathtaking.

Stuffing the gem-like creation in a small hip pack found under her waist sash, she closed it promptly as the oncoming waves of spiritual energy began to reach their current location. Preparing, she gripped the hilt of Leviathan once more, lifting it and holding it back in a forward bow position, the blade held above her head, whereas her other hand was pointing toward the direction she felt presences were coming from in preparation to unleash a powerful Hado in response to their onslaught. Mumbling the words, she began the incantation but didn't finish it, fully prepared to speak the last word and unleash hell.

"Leviathan 104; In the depths of despair and hell, unlike the burning pits of the underworld - comes an aspect of fear built by dread yet fueled by..."

The Making of a Thing Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Making of a Thing   The Making of a Thing Icon_minitimeSat Apr 13, 2013 3:29 pm

The time was here and so were the massive amounts of fodder. It wasn't a necessity for Saori to release nor finish her kido. With a flash step he was behind her, hand placed over her mouth and nose, covering most of it, save her jaw and lower lip, before he raised his hand to her blade. He gently nudged the gift he had given her so long ago back into it's sheathe and awaited, eyes closed, for everything to fall into place. He could feel it all, tens of thousands of gillian class hollows flowing to the two power sources that stood in the center of the storm of spiritual pressure that seemed to suddenly appear. Several thousands of adjuchas all rushing to be the one to take it out and devour the rest. And the near four dozen rarities known as Vasto Lordes coming out of their seclusion to drown their curiosities in what ever would lye there.

The oddest part of it all was that there was no motions made from the captain commander. Not even a breath taken would be felt by his vice captain as he made a connection with each and every soul there, evil or otherwise. Their screams were soul shattering and could be heard from miles but still they all drew ever close ignoring all that was and that would be with what they had. Power. It was something every hollow instinctively flocked to and wanted without a shadow of a doubt. Disruption at this point was impossible for the man, he was focused indefinitely and all other things outside of himself, Saori, and these hollow were meaningless in every sense of the word. As awkward as this must have been for the woman he knew that he could trust her and that she would trust him, even when the hollow were finally in visual range.

In one swift instance it all happened. Saori would be surrounded by Kuroden's telekenetic energy as he pulled her tightly into his embrace, repulsing anything besides his own physical body which was good seeing as he released his zanpakutou's shikai. The explosion that resided from within him would paralyze each and every one of the hollow that treaded to this place, so many of them there was, but that was irrelevant currently. The flames that followed would tear through each and every one of them. In that same moment he moved to bring every bit of the energy from his release back into Vampata and the residual souls of the hollows, power and all in an orb directly in front of himself and Saori. Rather than it doing what it normally would have though, he stopped the implosion and extended his left hand outward letting the blazing orb settle into it. A closed fist would quell the flames and a material similar in color to the quartz of the trees would be left. A small rubix cube constantly shifting among it's self. It was a beautiful object really, but it held enough power within it to be a tool of mass destruction in the wrong hands, the likes of which he might not be able to control if abused.

The Making of a Thing Empty

Saori would have been interrupted in her attempt to diminish the oncoming onslaught of Hollows, Gillians and Vasto-Lorde class Menos. Knowing that these were no ordinary spirits, she was actually vastly amazed at the sheer quality and skill of her Master, already knowing full well the capabilities he possessed - yet never seeing them to this extent and level of ruthlessness. The shrieking screams of the spirits seemed to echo throughout eternity. A paradise of chaos and hell ensued before her very eyes; the embrace held by Kuroden, the only thing keeping her from momentary shock.

She scanned over his body, his hands and arms. Not even a breathe was taken - and in an instant, hundreds upon thousands of spirits fell to the man she called her Master. Unsure of what was going on, the scene returned to that of a calm demeanor once more, beckoning the everlasting silence of the afterlife. An orb would appear in the hands of her Master, and Saori, being the pet of this monstrous individual, knew better than to speak out against his actions let alone ponder or ask what this contraption was. Instead, she waited, holding onto Kuroden with a smile bore upon her face. He had never held her like this before, yet she felt as if she had before. Dreams that lasted for decades had all come into place within the fraction of a second. Waiting for the commands or possible procedures induced and voiced by her owner, she stood, staring at the fading phantoms of the spirit world.

The Making of a Thing Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Making of a Thing   The Making of a Thing Icon_minitimeSun Apr 14, 2013 1:53 pm

It had seemed that the position they were now in was a most advantageous one. The item that he now held in hand was something that was more important to him than the lives of all the hollow it took to make it, but it was only the first piece to the puzzle that was Kuroden's master-end all plan. As for now he had to proceed with at least slight caution, but to do such would contradict his initial idea of a quick in and out job. Either way, it was neither here nor there for he and she were already levitating via his telekinetic ability shrouding them both and gradually increasing their altitude. Realizing that he still held her rather tightly and that now, her arm rested upon his instinctively.

There was that one instant where his guard dropped, where he knew this felt right, but it was something that hadn't happened before. Something he'd always wondered about, but never had the gual to attempt. And that instant was all it took for a remaining vasto to take him by surprise with a sonido. Instantly he used his powers to have Saori's altitude maintained, but he freed his hand from over her mouth and used the other to move her out of range of the attack of the thing. All it took was a shift of his head though, and the sharpened claws of it merely scratched his neck. That wasn't quite what aggitated him to the point of the understanding of his next actions. The thing that did though, was the fact that it's claw was an inch away from Saori's face as she was now facing both Kuroden and the vasto. The woman was more than capable of taking the hollow or avoiding it on her own, that wasn't the issue at all. The issue was the principal that it almost made contact with her due to his lack of diligence.

The rage displayed upon his features was something that he didn't like showing to anyone what so ever, especially Saori and that being the case he decided to end this quickly so that his rage could settle. His left hand crossed the extended right arm of the Vasto as his right gripped it at about the elbow. With a quick twist and thrust the beast's limb was ripped off completely and as it opened it's mouth to bellow out in pain, Kuro simply placed his right hand along the bottom of it's mouth, the jawline to be exact, and moved his right index finger behind him. That resulted, of course, in the use of a kido. The first hado most shinigami learn actually, sho. The Hollow's body, save the piece held in his left hand, was thrust out into the blackness, but that wasn't enough for Kuroden. He turned, features still contorted in anger, and opened his left hand. No words were spoken but from it a rather large streak of lightning, shaped in the form of a dragon's head and body, shot forth, completely eviscerating the body of the Vasto class hollow. Looking down at the jaw piece still in his right hand he had an idea. Jutting a bit of his own reiatsu into it, as to maintain it's existence, he turned again facing Saori. Placing it up to her jaw, where the Vasto's hand stopped, he placed it there. Looking away momentarily as he remembered that his features were noticeably angry to her and he didn't realize what they were when he placed the mask. Landing them on the ledge that housed the entrance of the cave that lead to the surface of Hueco Mundo's desert he began to proceed onward on foot. In his slight embarassment he avoided looking back at her as he gave his orders. "Saori, make haste. We have a meeting to attend." A moment like this would hopefully be lost to the endless sands.

The Making of a Thing Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Making of a Thing   The Making of a Thing Icon_minitimeMon Apr 15, 2013 12:27 pm

Saori had willingly been lifted above the ground by the evergrowing spiritual energy of the man she called Master. Kuroden, one of the most powerful Shinigami of Soul Society she thought of as an owner. Lucky, she thought she was. Maybe so, but regardless. It had taken over 1800 years for the two to even come into contact with each other. Now, 300 years later, they fight side by side in gratitude and respect for one another. It reminded her of past times before they were introduced at the Shin'ho Academy back when the Mikodo clan flourished and seemed to live on forever. However, even the Mikodo had secrets that they hadn't revealed to Saori - which was startling to say the least considering she was the Princess of the clan.

Before the clan had been decimated, currently in reality, Saori would have been lost in thought and engulfed by the magnificence of this moment, she was thinking back before the raid of Sosuke Aizen. That pompous fool. She had been studying something called a Reikai.. or.. Soul Release. It was a subform of the Bankai introduced to a Mikodo member. is a release that is a subform of Bankai, and easily mistaken as a "third" release for a Zanpakuto. While the Zanpakuto is initially a manifestation of the users soul, a part of them, but it's own seperate entity, Reikai allows for the user to assimilate the Zanpakuto's soul back into their own. To use this technique, the user must first be able to use Bankai, and then manifest their Zanpakuto's Bankai spirit into their world, similar to when they first learned Bankai and had to materialize the Shikai spirit. The Zanpakuto, however, will be holding a regular katana, similar to it's sealed state. The Shinigami must then utter a unique incantation. As soon as the incantation is uttered, the Zanpakuto will stab it's owner with the blade, twice, once in the Hakusui (Soul Sleep) and a second time in the Saketsu (Binding Chain). The user's body then harnesses the Zanpakuto spirit, and it is absorbed directly into the user's soul, merging them both.

The effect grants power far greater than even a Bankai, as they are now one with their Zanpakuto spirit, and they can use their older abilities on a far greater scale. It should be noted that, if the Shinigami has an inner Hollow, and the inner Hollow has already merged with their Zanpakuto Spirit, as Zanpakuto Spirits and Inner Hollows are one and the same, the Hollow will be absorbed as well through this process, which will result in a power boost further than if they had absorbed the Zanpakuto Spirit alone. When this occurs however, the appearance is far more Hollow-like than Zanpakuto-like, showing the Hollow has more bearing on the transformation. Unique to the souls harnessed within the Mikodo clan, she had been learning how to do such a thing, but never understood how to do it. It is said that there is an ancient tablet dating back to hundreds of thousands of years prior to even Saori's existence which revealed how to unlock such monstrous power - and as hard as Saori tried and attempted to uncover the coveted tablet, she couldn't locate its position.

While lost in this potential garganta of her mind, a Vasto Lorde had appeared roughly from nowhere, and it occurred to Saori that Kuroden had been lost in a similar mindset considering how close the Vasto Lorde had become to the two, despite their altitude. The claw had reached for her face as well as the other one reaching for Kuroden. Despite the fact that it had missed her master, the claw had sliced a clean gash up the side of her jaw which intersected with her lips. As Kuroden had virtually eviscerated the being as a whole, she held her hand over her mouth, feeling a small amount of blood begin to seep from the wound. Inevitable pain set in, sending a bone-clattering sting throughout her face. Kuroden had looked at her, and he seemed horribly angered by the Vasto Lorde. She could have obliterated the spirit just as easily as he, though they were both at a loss for reality unfortunately which resulted in someone being hurt. That someone happened to be Saori. Regardless, he had ripped the jaw fragment from the Hollow and channeled a portion of his reiatsu into the mask to keep it from dissipating into the sands which surrounded them.

Placing it over her mouth, Kuroden quickly leaped away, his face staring away from Saori's. She knew he was embarrassed about what had just taken place. The reasoning behind it was a mystery to her however. Was he depressed or saddened because he was angry at the Vasto Lorde? Maybe it was that he had laid a hand on the one thing that meant the most to her Master. Which was undoubtedly Saori, though this had yet to be revealed despite their three-hundred year old 'relationship', if one could even come close to calling it that. Regardless, he quickly shouted to her, his words pressing a matter involving a meeting of some sorts. As always, she obeyed, fashioning the newly found mask on her face and 'gluing' it onto her face using her own reiatsu, making sure it doesn't fall off, though allowing her to speak without muffling her voice. She would nod to her Master, quickly utilizing a shunpo to meet back up with him.
